Realme Watch 2 Pro First Impressions, 1.75” Display, SpO2, GPS, 14 Days Battery, specifications, price & reviews

Realme is getting more into AIoT/smartphone accessories & is launching many products.Today they’ve launched about 4 products & one of them is the realme Watch 2 Pro.We’ll do its unboxing & give you its first impressions. It packs some serious stuff for its price.Unboxing - You get the watch up front, interestingly it’s big & light, you get some documentation, and a magnetic charging cradle with USB cable. You don’t get much in the box of smartwatches. Let’s look at the watch. It’s a big rectangular dial & there’s ‘DARE TO LEAP’ branding on the belt.Build Quality - It’s good & has decent quality straps which are removable, so you can use it with other colours. It’ll be a little difficult to take out the straps without nails. As you can see, you’ll be able to remove the straps from here. There are 2 colour variants i.e Metallic Silver & Space Grey, we have the Space Grey.Buttons - The case looks metallic but it’s plastic & you get a physical button on the right with gold tinge.Let’s weigh it, I think it’ll be around 25-30g. I was wrong, it's 42g.In Hand Feel - It’s a traditional band & it looks nice. It’s a little big & will look fine for big wrists, but it’ll look a little big for smaller wrists.Display - It’s a 1.75” display, with thin bezels & a tiny chin, but it’s impressive! It’s a 320*385 screen, the peak brightness is up to 600 Nits. And it has a 30FPS refresh rate. It’s not an AMOLED display, but an IPS LCD display. And it looks premium as it’s a 2.5D curved glass.Watch Faces - There are more than 100 watch faces as compared to realme Watch 1.So you can set a new watch face every day for a different look. You also get live watch faces, as you can see here.It looks choppy due to 30FPS but live wallpapers on this watch are great!Battery - Despite the big screen, it has a 390mAh battery that lasts for 14 days.It takes around 2.5 hours to charge 0-100%.Features - You get SpO2, continuous heart rate tracking & around 90 sports modes.I think it’ll be priced around Rs 4-4.5K & for that price you get dual GPS which is unavailable on others.Wearing it in the rain or swimming with it wouldn’t be a problem as it’s IP68 certified.realme Link App - Software is as important as the hardware, not just on the watch but on the app too.And the realme Link App takes the value proposition to the next level as they are creating an ecosystem. So after a year or so, you might access your realme devices with just the realme watch.realme says that in future updates, there are going to be AIoT device controls for the ecosystem. It has Sleep tracking, activity monitoring, historical data etc & is all simple & user friendly on the realme Link App.You get other features like Music/Camera control(shutter button), Find My Phone, Weather etc.Sensors - There’s a continuous heart-rate sensor, 3-AXIS Accelerometer etc. & Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. All things are good but I’m not sure about the ‘DARE TO LEAP’ branding.Other than that, the features, display & price make it a value for money smartwatch.
