Infinix GT 20 Pro Expected to Launch in India Soon Based on BIS Certification
Gadget enthusiasts in India have reason to be excited as Infinix is gearing up
for the potential launch of the mid-range GT 20 Pro smartphone. This news
comes after the device was spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS)
certification website, hinting at its imminent arrival in the country.

While the BIS listing itself doesn't reveal any specific details about the
phone's hardware or software, it strongly suggests that the launch is
approaching. This is further reinforced by the fact that the Infinix GT 20
Pro, carrying the same model number (X6871), has also surfaced on other
certification platforms like SDPPI, EEC, Wi-Fi Alliance, and TUV.

Performance and Battery:
The TUV certification sheds some light on the phone's potential battery life.
The listing indicates a 4900mAh cell, which Infinix might advertise as a
5000mAh battery for marketing purposes.
More concrete information comes from the Geekbench database, which reveals
that the Infinix GT 20 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200
chipset. This is a modest upgrade from the Dimensity 8050 SoC found in its
predecessor, the GT 10 Pro, offering users a performance boost.
The Geekbench
listing also confirms at least one variant with 12GB of RAM, with rumors
suggesting an 8GB RAM option as well. Storage-wise, there's speculation of a
single 256GB storage model.
Software:
The Infinix GT 20 Pro is expected to run the latest Android 14 operating
system, following the footsteps of the Infinix GT 10 Pro, which offered a
near-stock Android experience in India. This suggests a similar user interface
for the GT 20 Pro in some markets.
Looking Ahead:
While details about the Infinix GT 20 Pro's display, camera setup, design, and
pricing remain unknown, its appearance on various certification websites is a
positive sign for an imminent launch in India.
In the meantime, Infinix is preparing to launch the Note 40 series smartphones on March 18th. These phones are expected to be powered by Infinix's
self-developed Cheetah X1 chip and boast the company's fastest charging
technology yet, at 100W.
