Huawei Band 9 Leaks Reveal Familiar Design, Specs Similar to Band 8
Fitness tracker enthusiasts got a sneak peek at Huawei's upcoming Band 9 thanks to a recent leak. While Huawei teased the device hinting at a "new era in wrist fashion" and improved sleep tracking features, the leaked information suggests a design very similar to its predecessor, the Band 8.
Classic Design with Colorful Options:
German publication WinFuture shared official-looking renders of the Huawei Band 9, showcasing a rectangular display with rounded corners and a single side button – mirroring the Band 8's design. The leak also suggests a variety of color options and band styles to cater to different preferences.

Reportedly, users can expect black, blue, white, yellow, and two shades of pink. The blue variant might even come with a stylish textile strap, while the others seem to stick to the standard silicone bands.
Huawei Band 9 Specifications:
The similarities don't end with the look. The leak suggests the Huawei Band 9 will retain the 1.47-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, likely with the same 368×194 pixel resolution as the Band 8. Battery capacity is also expected to remain unchanged at 180mAh.
In terms of functionality, the Band 9 is rumored to maintain the 5 ATM water resistance rating, allowing you to take it for a swim without worry. Connectivity is expected to be handled through Bluetooth and WLAN, just like previous iterations.
Pricing and Availability:
The leak further suggests that Huawei might stick to its previous pricing strategy. The Band 9 could retail at around 59 euros in Europe, similar to the Band 8. However, there's no official confirmation from Huawei regarding the launch date or availability of the Band 9 just yet.
This leak provides an interesting glimpse into what to expect from Huawei's upcoming fitness tracker. While the design and core specs seem familiar, it's possible that Huawei might have hidden improvements in sleep tracking or other features as hinted in their teasers. We'll have to wait for the official launch to know for sure.
