Realme 12x 5G to Debut in India with Industry-Leading Fast Charging: Report
Smartphone maker Realme unveiled the 12x 5G in China last week. The phone
positions itself below existing models like the Realme 12 5G and the Realme 12+ 5G. Now, a new report by 91mobiles suggests the 12x is set for an Indian
launch soon, with some key differences compared to the Chinese version.
Faster Charging for the Indian Market:
The biggest difference seems to be the charging speed. The Chinese 12x offers
only 15W charging, while the report claims the Indian model will boast a much
faster 45W fast charging system. This translates to a 0 to 50 percent charge
in just 30 minutes, potentially making the 12x the fastest charging phone in
its price range in India. The phone will also reportedly support reverse
charging, allowing you to use its battery to power other devices.

The Indian Realme 12x 5G is also said to include a special Dynamic Button
function. This button can be configured to access various features like Do Not
Disturb mode, airplane mode, and camera modes.
Pricing details are yet to be confirmed, but considering the starting price of
the Realme 12 5G at Rs 16,999 (around $203), we can expect the 12x to be
priced under Rs 15,000 (around $179). There's no official launch date yet, but
it could possibly arrive before the end of March.
