Pixel Users Get Even More Editing Power:

If you own a Pixel phone, you're in for an extra treat. Google is extending its advanced Magic Editor tool to all Pixel devices. Magic Editor uses cutting-edge generative AI to simplify complex edits. Here's what you can do with it:
  • Effortlessly resize, reposition, or adjust subjects within your photos.
  • Let Magic Editor suggest lighting and background improvements. It can even transform a dull sky into a vibrant sunset!
  • Choose from multiple variations of your edit to achieve your desired look.

Free with Limitations, Premium for Power Users:

While the core editing features are free for everyone, there are some limitations. Free users will have 10 Magic Editor saves per month. If you want unlimited edits or use a device that doesn't meet the minimum requirements, you'll need a Google One Premium plan (with 2TB of storage or more).

When and How to Get Editing:

The new features are scheduled to roll out starting May 15th, 2024. They'll be available on a variety of devices, including Chromebooks with ChromeOS version 118 or higher, Android devices running Android 8.0 or later, and iPhones and iPads with iOS 15 or later (with at least 3GB of RAM).

So, get ready to unleash your inner photo editor and breathe new life into your photos with Google's powerful AI tools!
