The leaked video, shared by Twitter user @MysterLupin, appears to be filmed inside an electronics store, hinting at a potential security lapse regarding Google's control over leaks. The video confirms previous leaks about the phone's design, featuring a horizontal camera bar on the back housing dual camera sensors and the familiar Google logo. The video also reveals the phone in Green and Blue color options.

The front of the phone remains under wraps due to a screen seal, likely indicating these are retail units.

Google Pixel 8a Specifications (Expected):

Based on previous leaks, the Pixel 8a is expected to boast a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and impressive 1400nits peak brightness. Powering the device is rumored to be Google's in-house Tensor G3 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage (without expandable storage options).

The Pixel 8a is also expected to run the latest Android 14 out of the box. In terms of cameras, the phone is tipped to
feature a 64MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) alongside a 13MP ultra-wide sensor. For selfies, a 13MP front-facing camera is rumored.

Keeping the phone running is expected to be a 4,500mAh battery with support for 27W fast charging. The price of the Pixel 8a is speculated to fall between $500 and $550, making it slightly more expensive than its predecessors in the A-series.

Overall:

With Google I/O just around the corner, the Pixel 8a leaks continue to paint a clear picture of what to expect from Google's next budget phone. The phone appears to offer a compelling combination of features, including a high-quality display, a powerful processor, and a capable camera system. While the price might be a slight bump compared to previous A-series devices, the upgraded specifications could make it a worthwhile investment for budget-minded Android users.
