Design and Resemblance to Nokia Lumia Series:

Though details regarding the specifications are scarce, there are indications that the upcoming HMD phones may bear a resemblance to the classic Nokia Lumia series. A recent redesign of the Nokia website to HMD showcased a tease of three phones in vibrant colors – blue, green, and pink. Speculation points towards two of these being the HMD Legend and LegendPro, potentially the pioneers of the first batch of phones to hit the market.

Leak Highlights:

Leaked information about these phones has been trickling in sporadically. An earlier render hinted at a lower mid-range device with a plastic, matte back. Another leak suggested the inclusion of a powerful 108MP OIS camera in one of the upcoming models. Renowned tipster Evan Blass provided additional insight, sharing that the phones were internally codenamed Pulse, Legend, Pulse+, Legend Plus, Pulse Pro, and Legend Pro.

Launch Event and IMEI Certification:

The anticipation is building as HMD has announced an event at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona later this month. This event is speculated to be the platform for the grand unveiling of these smartphones. Reports indicate that there might be as many as three smartphones launching in the initial batch, with a total of nine being certified by the IMEI.

Final Thoughts:

As we eagerly await the official announcement from HMD, the Geekbench insights provide an exciting glimpse into the capabilities of the Legend and LegendPro. The convergence of a potential Nokia Lumia series design with modern specifications and the promise of Android 14 makes these upcoming releases worth keeping an eye on. Stay tuned for more updates as the Mobile World Congress approaches, promising a significant reveal in the world of HMD smartphones.
