Realme 12 5G Spotted on Geekbench, Launch Expected Soon
Realme is gearing up to expand its 12 series lineup with the addition of
the Realme 12 5G. While the company has already announced two devices in the
series and is preparing for the launch of the Realme 12+ 5G on March 6, the
12 5G has just been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, hinting
at its imminent arrival.

The Geekbench listing for the Realme 12 5G reveals some key specifications.
The phone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+
processor, featuring an octa-core configuration with two high-performance
cores clocked at 2.20GHz and six efficiency cores running at 2.0GHz. This,
along with the mention of an integrated Mali G57 GPU, aligns with the
specifications of the Dimensity 6100+ chipset.

The benchmarking platform also reveals that the phone will come equipped
with 8GB of RAM and run on the latest Android 14 operating system. It scored
738 points in the single-core test and 1935 points in the multi-core test on
Geekbench.

Adding to the pile of evidence suggesting an imminent launch, the Realme 12
5G has received certifications from various regulatory bodies. It has been
certified by SIRIM in Malaysia, confirming its marketing name, and by TUV

FCC website further suggests support for 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and

Leaks suggest the Realme 12 5G will boast a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display with
FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. For security, the phone is
expected to feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The recent BIS certification from India strongly suggests an imminent
launch in the country. The phone could potentially be unveiled alongside the
Realme 12+ 5G during the March 6 launch event.
