Vivo V30 Pro Launched in Indonesia with Zeiss Optics and Powerful Specs

Vivo has officially launched the V30 Pro smartphone in Indonesia, alongside its standard sibling, the V30. These models are slightly modified versions of the Vivo S18 and S18 Pro that were previously released in China.

The Vivo V30 Pro maintains the slim profile of its predecessor, measuring only 7.45mm thick and weighing 188g. It features a large 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a centered punch-hole design. The display offers a sharp 2800 x 1260 resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and vibrant 10-bit colors. Additionally, it boasts impressive brightness levels, reaching up to 2800 nits locally and 1200 nits globally.

Performance and Cameras:

Under the hood, the V30 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. This combination ensures smooth performance for everyday tasks and demanding applications.

The highlight of the V30 Pro's camera system is the integration of Zeiss optics, marking the first time Vivo has incorporated this technology outside of its X series. The rear camera setup features a triple-lens configuration, including a 50MP Sony IMX920 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP ultrawide sensor with autofocus, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x zoom capability. The front-facing camera also boasts a high resolution of 50MP, ideal for capturing clear selfies.

The V30 Pro comes equipped with various connectivity options, including dual SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC. It packs a long-lasting 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging for quick power top-ups.

In Indonesia, the Vivo V30 Pro is available in a single memory configuration of 12GB RAM + 512GB storage, priced at Rp. 8,999,000 (approximately $570). The phone is currently up for pre-order and is expected to launch in India on March 7.
