Google's Pixel 7 Series Receives Circle to Search Feature in March Update

Google's Pixel Feature Drop for March brings exciting new features to Pixel smartphones, and one of the most anticipated additions, Circle to Search, is finally rolling out to Pixel 7 and 7 Pro users.

Circle to Search allows Pixel users to quickly and easily search the web using an image or text on their screen. By long-pressing the home button or navigation bar and circling the desired content, users can initiate a reverse image search or find information related to the highlighted text.

A Reddit user found the feature working on their Pixel 7 Pro running the Android beta build, while Android Police confirmed its functionality on a Pixel 7 with a stable Android 14 version and updated security patches.

Interestingly, both reports suggest the Google app update might play a role in activating Circle to Search. In both cases, the feature became available after updating the Google app to the latest beta build. Even switching back to the stable Google app version seemed to enable Circle to Search, implying the beta update might have triggered its activation on the server-side.
