Honor Band 9 Launched with Larger Display, Long Battery Life, and More

The Honor Band 9 has officially arrived, boasting an impressive upgrade from its predecessor, the Honor Band 7. Announced alongside the Honor Magic 6 series at a recent launch event, the Band 9 brings a bigger, sharper display, extended battery life, and a variety of health and fitness features.

The Honor Band 9 steps up the visual experience with a larger 1.57-inch AMOLED display compared to the 1.47-inch screen on its predecessor. The resolution is also bumped up to 402 x 256 pixels, offering a sharper picture. An exciting addition is the 60Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth transitions and animations, a significant upgrade for a fitness tracker.

Honor Band 9 Design and Display

While the body remains plastic, the Honor Band 9 retains the sleek look of the Band 7 with a metal-like finish on the sides. Like its predecessor, it boasts 5ATM water resistance, making it suitable for wearing in pools, during shallow water activities, and even while washing dishes.

The Band 9 connects to smartphones via Bluetooth 5.3, ensuring a reliable connection for both Android (9.0 and later) and iOS (11.0 and later) devices. Pairing is done through the familiar Honor Health app.
