Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche: Real Image Reveals Hexagonal Camera Island

Honor is set to unveil two exciting new smartphones on March 18th – the Magic 6 Ultimate and the much-anticipated Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design. This latest addition to the Magic 6 series promises a unique design and top-tier specs, courtesy of the Porsche Design collaboration.

Hexagonal Camera Island:

Thanks to a leaked image on Weibo by tipster Teme, we now have a first look at the rear design of the Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design. The phone features a striking hexagonal camera module, housing three cameras and an LED flash. The design is a clear departure from the standard Magic 6 models and hints at a more premium, luxury aesthetic. The camera module also boasts the phone's impressive 100x digital zoom capability.

While the exact thickness of the Magic 6 RSR remains unconfirmed, leaked images suggest it might be slightly thicker than the standard Magic 6 (8.1mm) and Magic 6 Pro (8.9mm). This could be due to the use of different materials or to accommodate additional internal components.

Front Design and Display:

The front design of the Magic 6 RSR is still under wraps, but rumors suggest it will share the same stunning quad-curved OLED panel with a pill-shaped camera cutout as other Magic 6 models. Honor has already teased some exciting display features for the Magic 6 series, including the industry's first dual-stack series OLED architecture.

This promises a significant boost in screen lifespan (up to 600% increase) and improved energy efficiency (40% improvement). Speculation suggests the display might be an 8T LTPO panel with a peak brightness exceeding 5000 nits and support for high-frequency 4320Hz PWM dimming, which can reduce eye strain.

Performance and Other Details:

While the full specifications of the Magic 6 RSR are yet to be revealed, it's expected to pack the same powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset powering the existing Magic 6 and 6 Pro models. This ensures smooth performance for even the most demanding tasks.

More to Come on March 18th:

The March 18th launch event promises to unveil more details about the Magic 6 RSR, including its complete specifications, pricing, and availability. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
