Motorola is getting ready to launch a new version of its popular Moto G Power smartphone, the Moto G Power 5G (2024). This upcoming phone recently appeared in a benchmark listing, giving us some clues about its performance and operating system.

The Geekbench listing shows that the Moto G Power 5G (2024) will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor. This chip is actually a rebranded version of the MediaTek Dimensity 930 found in the 2023 model. It includes two fast cores for demanding tasks and six more efficient cores for everyday use. The Geekbench scores suggest reasonable performance, with 679 points in single-core tests and 2005 points in multi-core tests. The phone will also come with 8GB of RAM and the latest Android 14 operating system.

Possible Display and Design:

While the Geekbench listing doesn't reveal everything, rumors suggest the Moto G Power 5G (2024) might have a large 6.7-inch display with a small hole for the selfie camera. Motorola is likely to use a standard IPS LCD panel instead of a more expensive OLED screen. The resolution could be 1200 x 1600 pixels, offering clear visuals.
