Nubia Z60 Ultra Gets a Photography Edition with AI Enhancements

Nubia is releasing a special edition of their Z60 Ultra smartphone, specifically designed for those who prioritize camera features. Announced on March 19, 2024, this new edition is set to launch on March 28th.

While details are still emerging, Nubia has teased that this special edition will boast "such AI" capabilities, hinting at advanced software features geared towards enhancing the phone's camera functionalities. This could translate to additional camera modes, improved image processing, or even AI-powered scene recognition for optimized settings.

The good news for those already impressed with the Z60 Ultra's core specifications is that the photography edition will reportedly maintain the same internal hardware. This means you can expect the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a long-lasting 6000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging, and a variety of storage and memory configurations (from 8GB RAM and 256GB storage up to a whopping 24GB RAM and 1TB storage).

The camera system on the photography edition is also expected to be identical to the standard Z60 Ultra. This means you'll get a versatile triple-camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX800 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 64-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.

The Z60 Ultra Photography Edition is also expected to retain the original's stunning 6.8-inch BOE Q9+ OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and impressive 1500 nits peak brightness.
