Qualcomm to Unveil New Snapdragon Chips on March 18

Qualcomm is gearing up to launch new additions to its popular Snapdragon processor line. The company has announced an event in China on March 18th specifically focused on introducing next-generation flagship chips.

Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and 7+ Gen 3 Expected:

The star of the show is expected to be the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 (SM8635) SoC. Rumors suggest this chip will boast an architecture similar to the current Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, but with a key difference: the inclusion of a Cortex-X4 core. This could translate to improved performance for users.

In terms of technical specifications, leaks suggest the 8s Gen 3 will pack a 1 x 3.01GHz Cortex-X4 core alongside 4 x 2.61GHz Cortex-A720 cores and 3x 1.84GHz Cortex-A520 cores for handling various tasks efficiently. The graphics processing unit (GPU) is also rumored to be an Adreno 735.
