Samsung Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 Prices Revealed Ahead of India Launch

Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy A55 and A35 smartphones in India on March 11th. These mid-range offerings have already been spotted on a retailer website in Germany, revealing their pricing and some key specifications.

The leaked prices suggest that the Galaxy A55 will start at €479 (approximately Rs. 43,190) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The higher-end 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option is expected to be priced at €529 (approximately Rs. 47,700).

The Galaxy A35, on the other hand, is expected to be a more affordable option. The base variant with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage could cost €379 (approximately Rs. 34,180), while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model might be priced at €449 (approximately Rs. 40,490). Both phones are available in four color options: Navy Blue, Lemon, Lilac, and Ice Blue.

The Galaxy A55 and A35 share some common features, including a large 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. They are powered by different processors though. The A55 gets the more powerful Exynos 1480 chip with AMD Xclipse 530 GPU, while the A35 utilizes the Exynos 1380 processor with Mali-G68 MP5 GPU.

Both phones boast a versatile triple-camera system on the back, featuring a 50MP main sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) for sharper pictures. They also pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging, ensuring you can stay powered throughout the day.

The Galaxy A55 comes with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM, while the A35 is offered only with 8GB of RAM. Both offer up to 256GB of storage, expandable via a microSD card for additional storage needs. They run Android 14 with Samsung's One UI 6 on top, promising a user-friendly experience.

In terms of security, both phones come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. They are also dust and water resistant with an IP67 rating, providing some protection against the elements.
