Vivo V30 and V30 Pro Launched in India: Powerful Processors, 50MP Cameras and 80W Charging

Vivo has launched the V30 and V30 Pro smartphones in India, catering to the mid-premium smartphone segment. Both phones feature a large curved AMOLED display, powerful processors, and versatile camera systems.

The V30 and V30 Pro share a similar display, featuring a large 6.78-inch curved AMOLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution (2800 x 1260 pixels) and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for a fluid viewing experience. The displays also offer HDR10+ support for enhanced contrast and vibrant colors, with a peak brightness of up to 2800 nits for better outdoor visibility.

The Vivo V30 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, while the V30 Pro gets the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor. Both phones are paired with LPDDR4X RAM in the V30 and LPDDR5X RAM in the V30 Pro, offering up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The phones run on Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14 on top and are promised to receive 2 Android updates and security updates for 3 years.

The camera system differs slightly between the two phones. The V30 features a 50MP main sensor with OIS (optical image stabilization), a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP portrait camera. The V30 Pro ups the ante with a 50MP Sony IMX920 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 50MP 2x telephoto portrait camera with a Sony IMX816 sensor. Both phones sport a 50MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

Both the V30 and V30 Pro pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging, ensuring quick and convenient power top-ups. The phones also boast an in-display fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking and are IP54 rated for dust and water resistance.

The Vivo V30 comes in three storage options: 8GB + 128GB priced at Rs 33,999, 8GB + 256GB priced at Rs 35,999, and 12GB + 256GB priced at Rs 37,999. The Vivo V30 Pro comes in two storage options: 8GB + 256GB priced at Rs 41,999 and 12GB + 512GB priced at Rs 46,999. Pre-booking starts today, March 7th, with sales beginning on March 14th across Flipkart, the Vivo India website, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, Croma, and other major retailers.
