launched
its latest foldable smartphones, the X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro,
in China. Both phones boast impressive features, including large foldable
displays, powerful processors, and advanced camera systems.

Thin and Durable Design:
The X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro share a similar design with a large foldable
main display, a smaller cover display, and a circular rear camera module. They
utilize a lightweight carbon fiber hinge that has been certified to withstand
500,000 folds. Additionally, Vivo has enhanced the drop resistance of the
phones compared to the previous generation X Fold 2.
Large and Bright Foldable Displays:
Both models feature identical foldable displays measuring 8.03 inches
diagonally with a resolution of 2480 x 2200 pixels and a smooth 120Hz refresh
rate. The displays are made from Samsung E7 AMOLED material and boast a peak
brightness of up to 4,500 nits for exceptional viewing in any lighting
condition. The cover displays are 6.53 inches with a resolution of 1172 x 2748
pixels and also offer a 120Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits peak brightness.
Performance:
The X Fold 3 Pro packs the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, while the
standard X Fold 3 comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Both phones are
offered in configurations with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
Camera:
The camera systems differ slightly between the two models. The X Fold 3 Pro
features a 50MP main sensor with a large 1/1.3-inch sensor size, a 64MP 3x
telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It also boasts a Vivo V3
imaging chip for enhanced image processing. The X Fold 3 utilizes a 50MP Sony
main sensor, along with a 50MP portrait camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera.
Both models share dual 32MP selfie cameras.

battery in the X Fold 3. The Pro model supports faster 100W wired charging and

blaster. The Pro version also has some extra features, like a faster way to
transfer files (USB 3.2 Gen2), better speakers for music and movies (stereo
speakers with Wireless Lossless Hi-Fi audio), and a more secure way to unlock
the phone with your fingerprint (two 3D ultrasonic fingerprint readers). The X

The Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro are currently available for purchase in
China, with shipments expected to begin later this month. The phones come in
two color options: Eclipse Black and Solar White. Pricing starts at around
$969 (Rs. 81,920) for the base X Fold 3 model and goes up to $1,523 (Rs.
1,28,730) for the top-of-the-line X Fold 3 Pro with 16GB RAM and 1TB of
storage.
