Motorola Edge 50 Ultra Leaks Reveal Stunning Design and Powerful Specs

Motorola is gearing up to launch the Motorola Edge 50 Pro in India on April 3rd, featuring the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. Rumors suggest additional models like the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra and Motorola Edge 50 Fusion are also in the pipeline.

Leaked renders previously gave us a glimpse of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra's color options, but now high-quality, official-looking video teasers have surfaced online, showcasing the phone's design and some of its features. Tech tipster @Evleaks shared the videos on Twitter.

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra Design:

Earlier reports hinted at a curved display for the phone. The leaked video confirms this, revealing a design where the curved display and back panel seamlessly blend into the frame. Visible antenna lines on the frame suggest a metal construction, likely aluminum.

Camera and Display:

The video showcases a triple-camera setup on the back, featuring a periscope telephoto lens and a 50-megapixel main sensor. The camera module also houses two smaller cutouts, which are likely for a rear-facing microphone and depth sensors to aid autofocus.

Previous leaks suggest the Edge 50 Ultra will sport a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with a 72mm focal length and 3x optical zoom.

The phone is expected to boast a curved 6.7-inch 1.5k display with a smooth 165Hz refresh rate. The front camera is housed in a single punch-hole cutout.

The display will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. At MWC in February, Motorola and Corning announced a new partnership that will see all Motorola phones equipped with reinforced Gorilla Glass.

Interestingly, one of the videos shows the phone emerging from water, hinting at an IP68 dust and water resistance rating – similar to the Motorola Edge 40 Pro launched last year. The teasers also reveal a dual stereo speaker setup.

Other Rumored Specifications:

While not officially confirmed, rumors suggest the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will pack a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a 4500mAh battery, and support for 125W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Overall, the leaked videos paint a picture of a premium phone with a sleek design, a powerful camera system, and a high-performance processor. With the official launch just around the corner, we can expect to hear more about the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra in the coming days.
