Oppo A3 Pro 5G CAD-Based Renders Leak: Design and Specs Revealed

Oppo is gearing up to launch a new phone, the A3 Pro 5G, following the releases of the A2 and A2 Pro last year and the A3 back in 2018. The company's naming scheme might be a bit confusing, but that shouldn't distract from the upcoming A3 Pro.

Thanks to leaked CAD-based renders, we now have a good idea of what the Oppo A3 Pro 5G will look like. The phone will reportedly measure 162.7 x 74.5 x 7.8 mm and sport a large 6.7-inch screen.

Oppo A3 Pro 5G Design

The renders showcase a rather unique rear camera design. The phone has a circular camera island that houses just two rear cameras, an LED flash array, and surprisingly, an entirely decorative circle at the top. This decorative circle has a metal-looking cap but no actual camera lens.

The bezels around the screen appear to be quite narrow on the sides, with slightly thicker bezels at the top and bottom. The front-facing camera is housed in a hole-punch cutout located in the middle of the screen. The renders also reveal the placement of the buttons and ports, with the power and volume buttons on the right side and a USB Type-C port at the bottom.

While specific details about the Oppo A3 Pro's internal hardware haven't been leaked yet, some educated guesses can be made based on its predecessor, the A2 Pro. The A2 Pro was a lower-midrange phone powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7050 SoC, paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. It also sported a 64MP main camera with a 2MP depth sensor.

We can expect the A3 Pro to offer some minor upgrades over the A2 Pro, but it likely won't be a drastic leap in performance. The price point is also expected to be similar, making the A3 Pro a decent mid-range option for budget-conscious shoppers.
