HMD Pulse Pro Specs, Price, and Launch Date Unveiled in Latest Listing

HMD, the company best known for its Nokia-branded phones, is venturing into the smartphone market under its own brand with the Pulse series. Leaked specifications from a Finnish retailer give us a comprehensive look at the upcoming HMD Pulse Pro, a budget-friendly phone with some interesting features.

The Pulse Pro boasts a large 6.56-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1480 pixels and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate for a more responsive user experience. Currently, it only comes in black.

Under the hood, the Pulse Pro is powered by the Unisoc T606 processor, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. This combination should be suitable for everyday tasks and light gaming. Storage can be further expanded up to 256GB with a microSD card for those who need more space for photos, videos, and apps.

The phone features a dual-camera system on the back, with a main 50MP sensor accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. This setup is likely geared more towards capturing decent photos in good lighting conditions, with the depth sensor assisting in portrait mode. The front-facing camera also boasts a 50MP sensor, which is impressive for a phone in this price range and caters to selfie enthusiasts.

The Pulse Pro packs a long-lasting 5000mAh battery, which should provide ample power for a full day's use on a single charge. The phone is expected to run Android 14 out of the box, with HMD promising two years of major Android updates and three years of security updates, ensuring a relatively up-to-date and secure experience.
