Realme Launching New Budget Phone in India with 6GB RAM Under ₹10,000: Report

Realme is reportedly gearing up to launch a new budget smartphone in India, boasting a generous 6GB of RAM. While the official details are still under wraps, speculation suggests it could be the upcoming Realme C65.

According to a report by 91mobiles Hindi, Realme is preparing to unveil a new smartphone priced competitively at Rs 10,000 (around $120). This budget-friendly phone is expected to pack at least 6GB of RAM for smooth multitasking, along with a whopping 256GB of internal storage, providing ample space for your apps, photos, and videos.

The report further suggests that this upcoming Realme phone will directly compete with other budget offerings in the Indian market from brands like Poco, itel, Techno, and Infinix.

Realme recently offered a glimpse of the upcoming Realme C65 through a teaser image. The phone appears in a sleek Blue color variant, featuring a rectangular camera module on the back housing dual camera sensors and an LED flash. The back panel has a glossy finish, and the phone itself sports a boxy design, likely made from polycarbonate. For easy access, the power button and volume rocker are positioned on the right side.

Interestingly, the design of the Realme C65 seems to draw inspiration from current Samsung Galaxy smartphones, hinting at a fresh look for Realme's C-series lineup.

While not officially confirmed, reports suggest that the Realme C65 will have a 6.67-inch LCD HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and this phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

Realme C65 will support 4G LTE connectivity and might run on Realme UI 5.0, based on the Android 14 operating system. The battery capacity is speculated to be around 4,880mAh, possibly rounded up to 5,000mAh in marketing materials. Additionally, a TUV listing hints at the inclusion of 45W SuperVOOC charging technology for speedy power refills.

As for cameras, a listing on Camera FV-5 suggests the Realme C65 might sport a 50MP primary sensor at the back, along with an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
