Redmi Turbo 3 Surfaces in Benchmarks with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 16GB RAM

Xiaomi has officially unveiled the name of its upcoming smartphone powered by the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor - the Redmi Turbo 3. Redmi promises the phone will be a performance leader, pushing the boundaries of the mid-range segment.

Recent leaks on Geekbench revealed the Redmi Turbo 3 under the model number 24069RA21C. The benchmark scores showcase its potential:

• 2023 points in Geekbench 6 single-core test

• 5659 points in Geekbench 6 multi-core test

These scores surpass the benchmarks of the previous generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, indicating a significant performance boost. The listing also confirms a whopping 16GB of RAM, with a likely 12GB RAM variant expected as well.

Redmi General Manager Wang Teng Thomas claims the phone can achieve over 1.7 million points on the AnTuTu 10 benchmark in lab tests. This aligns closely with the scores of the Redmi K70 equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. While the CPU performance is expected to be better, the GPU is likely similar to the previous generation.

Thomas also shared a glimpse of the Redmi Turbo 3's display, revealing minimal bezels and a high screen-to-body ratio similar to the recently launched Redmi K70E (POCO X6 Pro in India).

The phone is expected to be launched in China by mid-April 2024. It will likely be introduced globally under the POCO F6 name sometime in the second quarter of 2024.
