- Processor: Both the Fold FE and Flip FE are rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip, which is also found in phones like the Realme 12 Pro+ and Redmi Note 13 Pro. The Fold FE might also have an option with Samsung's Exynos SoC, possibly the Exynos 2200, in some markets.
- RAM and Storage: The Galaxy Z Fold FE could come in variants with 12GB or 16GB of RAM, while the Flip FE might have 8GB or 12GB options. Both phones are expected to be available in 256GB and 512GB storage configurations.
- Dimensions: When folded, the Z Fold FE is said to measure 155.1 x 67.1 x 14.2–15.8mm, and unfolded it would be 155.1 x 130.1 x 6.3mm. The Z Flip FE would be 84.9 x 71.9 x 15.9–17.1mm folded and 165.2 x 71.9 x 6.9mm unfolded.
Availability:
There's no official word on when (or even if) these phones will be released.
Samsung usually unveils its flagship foldable phones around mid-July, and
rumors suggest the FE models could launch sometime between September and
October.
A More Affordable Foldable Future?
The arrival of the Z Fold FE and Z Flip FE would be a significant development
in the foldable phone market. By offering these devices at a lower price
point, Samsung could potentially make foldable technology more accessible to a
wider audience. This could lead to increased adoption and further innovation
in the foldable phone space.
Of course, these are just leaks for now. We'll have to wait for an official
announcement from Samsung to know for sure if the Galaxy Z Fold FE and Z Flip
FE are coming and, if so, what their exact features and pricing will be.
