Samsung in the Works on Galaxy S24 FE, But Launch May Be Delayed
Samsung unveiled its flagship Galaxy S24 series in January 2024.
They're now likely gearing up to showcase new foldable phones (Galaxy Z
series), tablets (Galaxy Tab S10 series), smartwatches (Galaxy Watch 7 series), and wearables (Galaxy Ring).
News has also surfaced about an upcoming Galaxy S24 FE model. While details
are scarce, a reliable source for Samsung leaks, GalaxyClub, revealed that
Samsung is working on a new phone codenamed R12.
Following past practices (S20 FE – R8, S21 FE – R9, S23 FE – R11), it's safe
to assume R12 is the Galaxy S24 FE. Interestingly, there was an R10 codename
reportedly linked to a Galaxy S22 FE that never materialized.
Possible Delay for S24 FE Launch:
Apart from the codename, specifics about the S24 FE remain unknown. In
contrast, leaks about the S23 FE were plentiful around this time last year.
This hints at a potential delay for the S23 FE launch.
Considering the current development stage, a November launch or later seems
more likely compared to the October 2023 release of the Galaxy S23 FE.
