Airtel, Vi Boost Ayodhya Network for Ram Mandir Inauguration
In preparation for the much-anticipated inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Airtel and Vodafone Idea (Vi) have collaborated to enhance network connectivity across the city. This strategic move ensures seamless telecom services in key locations, including the Airport, railway station, bus stands, landmarks, hotels, and other significant venues.
Airtel Fiber has been introduced to provide high-speed data coverage in areas that demand it. The deployment of Cells on Wheels (CoW) is notable, with each positioned strategically in Ayodhya Dham, Ayodhya Cantt, Ram Bhadra, Brahmakund, Guptar Ghat, Parikrama Marg, Highway, Airport, Katra railway station, Bus stand, and Ramprasth Park. Extra manpower, including network engineers, has been deployed to ensure uninterrupted service and manage any surge in demand during the event.
Vi's network infrastructure improvements include upgrades to existing sites across major areas of Ayodhya. This has been done by increasing capacity, enhancing backhaul connectivity, and augmenting the network across all spectrum bands. New sites have been added, and Vi has upgraded/refarmed L2100 spectrum capacity at critical locations, including Ayodhya Railway Station, Ram Mandir Campus, the Airport, the Railway station, and connecting highways to Lucknow and Varanasi.

Airtel has taken substantial steps to bolster its network infrastructure in Ayodhya. Additional network sites have been deployed, and cells on wheels have been strategically placed. Optic fiber cables have been laid to ensure comprehensive coverage throughout the city.
