Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra Confirmed for Release This Year
This year's Galaxy Z Fold lineup is shaping up to be exciting, with the
potential arrival of two new models. Rumors have been swirling about an
affordable Galaxy Z Fold 6 (or Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE) and even a
top-of-the-line Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra. A recent report strongly suggests that
the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra is not only real, but also launching in 2024.
Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra: The First Foldable Ultra
Previously, the "Ultra" designation was reserved for Samsung's flagship Galaxy
S series. However, it appears Samsung is expanding the Ultra brand to its
foldable lineup. Android Headlines spotted a Samsung phone with the model
number SM-F958N, which they believe to be the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra. This
assumption is based on the number "8," which Samsung typically uses for Ultra
models, and the "6" at the end, which aligns with previous foldable model
numbers.

Release Date and Speculation:
The report suggests a summer release for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra as part of
the Galaxy Z Fold 6 lineup. Given the Ultra branding, it's likely to be the
most expensive model in the series. There's speculation that the standard
Galaxy Z Fold 6 might only be available in South Korea, even if it launches at
all.
While details about the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra remain scarce, it's highly
expected to be equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. More
information about the Ultra model is expected to leak closer to launch.
Samsung Unpacked Event Expected in July:
Rumors point to a second Samsung Unpacked event happening on July 10th in
Paris. This event is expected to be a major one, with the unveiling of the
Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6. The Galaxy Watch 7 series and Galaxy Ring are also rumored to launch at this event.
