Apple Rumored to Introduce iPhone 17 Slim, Replacing Plus Model
Apple's iPhone design hasn't seen a major overhaul in recent years. While the iPhone 15 Pro boasted new materials like titanium, the overall look remained familiar. However, a new leak suggests a significant change for the iPhone 17 lineup: a slimmer version replacing the Plus model.

Analyst Jess Pu, reported by 9to5Mac, claims Apple is introducing a new "iPhone 17 Slim" model. This variant is expected to take the place of the traditional Plus model, offering a larger display than the base iPhone 17 but with a thinner and sleeker design.
A Slimmer Lineup Across the Board?
Pu's report also suggests all iPhone 17 models, including the base 17, the Slim, and the Pro variants, will feature a titanium build similar to the iPhone 15 Pro. The top-of-the-line iPhone 17 Pro Max might even boast a smaller "Dynamic Island" thanks to new "metalens" technology for proximity sensors.
Performance and Other Features:
The iPhone 17 and 17 Slim are rumored to come with 8GB of RAM and either the A18 or A19 Bionic chip. The Pro models are expected to pack 12GB of RAM and the A19 Pro chip for even more power. All four models might also sport a 24-megapixel front camera and an anti-reflective scratch-resistant display.
